The concert begins with a tantalizing classical concerto such as Rafael Mendez’s “Virgen De La Macarena”, Arutunian, Hayden, Hummel, Gliere, Tartini, or Arturo’s own Concerto #2 for Trumpet and Orchestra.

These feature Arturo as a soloist with the orchestra. The second part of the program brings Arturo back along with his sextet and the full orchestra to perform pops pieces. The charts performed in this section include carefully selected original Sandoval compositions from his Grammy-winning albums which he has arranged specifically for Symphony Orchestras. And the show’s exciting finale concludes with a fun and energetic encore by Arturo and hid band. It is only with a symphony orchestra concert that the audience gets the full spectrum of his versatility!
